About Us
UEDE COOPERATIVE Background
UEDE Cooperative is a registered Savings and Credit Co-operative Society whose main objective is to mobilize savings from members and in return provide credit facilities educating the members the advantages of developing a savings behavior, through proper investment best practices aimed at improving the social and economic conditions of the members.
The idea of forming a SACCO was conceived in a staff meeting held on 24th January 2011. Why?.., limitations on salary advances of not more than 6 months. It was temporary registered on 13th May 2011 with 30 members. It was permanently registered on 13th Sept 2013 with 58 members.
